Welcome Letter

2008-09 VENDOR SPACE RENEWALS

Hello again from the Arizona Market Place. Rent for March is now due for those of you who haven’t paid already. For those vendors planning to stay for April, we will be open through the 13th and rent will again be ½ price, prorated for whatever part of the month you plan to stay. This will be due by March 28th.

We are just about ready to start taking space reservations for the 2008-2009 Season. In order to help offset many of the increases that the Market has absorbed for the past couple years (utilities, taxes, labor costs, etc.) we will be increasing space rental fees for next season. The new fees will be as follows: $219 per month for vendors registered since before November 2007 on Row A and for Row H, and $279 per month for vendors registered after November 2007 on Row A. Corner spaces on Rows A and H will increase to $239 per month for the 1st two spaces on each walkway with a 2-space minimum. Rows B through G will increase to $279 per month. Corner spaces will become $389 for the 1st two spaces on each walkway with a 2-space minimum. Next season will begin Thursday, November 6, 2008. Any vendors with a reservation for next season MUST be open by this date or will forfeit their deposit and the spaces they had reserved may become available to other vendors.

Please remember that a new Vendor License Agreement must be submitted when payment is made. All items you will be selling in your spaces must be declared. Also, any vendor with an outstanding balance must have this paid before a reservation for next season will be accepted. The schedule for making reservations will be as follows: Beginning March 6th and lasting until March 19th, any current seasonal vendor will have the opportunity to reserve their same spaces for next season. From March 20th through April 13th any current seasonal vendor who wishes to add spaces or move to any available spaces in the Market will have that opportunity on a first come, first served basis. Beginning April 14th the open spaces will become available for any other vendors who wish to reserve space for next season, also on a first come, first served basis. Vendors who will be returning to the same spaces next season will be allowed to keep their frames in place. Please make sure that they remain anchored securely and that there is pad at the base of each pole to protect the asphalt. All other belongings such as tarps, tables, racks, etc. must be removed for the off-season months unless arrangements have been made as provided for in the Vendor License Agreement.
